It's like having your own personal groundkeeper!
1
Weekly Lawn Maintenance
Mowing your lawn at the correct height for type of grass and varied directional cutting when appliable. Giving your lawn that sculpted look by edging along all hard surfaces (sidewalks, driveways, patios, & curbs). No lawn is complete without trimming the grass where the lawn mower could not reach and blowing grass clippings off all hard surfaces.
2
Lawn & Landscape Maintenance
Everything weekly lawn maintenance offers plus, landscape pruning (as needed), and landscape bed maintenance, which includes spraying and/or pulling weeds as needed.
3
Core Aeration
Aeration involves perforating the soil with small holes to allow air, water, and nutrients to penetrate the grass roots. This helps roots grow deeply and produce a stronger, more vigorous lawn. It is recommended to aerate the lawn once per season, either in the spring or fall.
4
Dethatching
Spring is the perfect time to dethatch removing excess thatch from your lawn allowing it to breathe again. Dethatching helps slice through the thatch into the soil and remove a barrier of thick, accumulated organic matter. It is recommended to dethatch the lawn once per season, either in the spring of fall.
5
Spring Clean-up
Removing dead leaves, loose twigs, branches and any other debris that may have fallen during the winter months from the lawn and landscape beds. This will provide the opportunity to do a more thorough inspection of the property. Shrubs, bushes, and ornamental grasses can be trimmed and prepped for the growing season.
6
Fall Clean-up
It's more than just the leaves. Eliminating the leaves, twigs, branches, and debris from lawn and landscape beds. The lawn will be cut shorter at this time to prevent fungus issues. Perennial flowers should be "dead-headed" to increase growth in the spring. Mulch must be turned over and roughed up for a neat look and to remove any mold that may set in. And lastly, trim and shape hedges and shrubs one last time for a sculpted look and to minimize snow and ice damage.
7
Mulch Installation
Mulch can be installed in late spring or early fall. Landscape beds can be prepped prior to mulch being installed by edging the landscape bed, killing and removing weeds, and applying a pre-emergent for future weed growth.
